What is General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and How does it Affect Recruitment?

In a Nutshell

GDPR became enforceable on May 25th of this year. Since this is a regulation, not a directive, GDPR doesn’t require national governments to pass any enabling legislation and is directly binding and applicable.
