Giving To The Bright Minds Of The Future: CARRHURE Consulting’s Targeted Social Responsibility Event

It was a month to this day when CARRHURE Consulting’s Managing Director Aurée de Carbon visited the Alay Pag-Asa Christian Foundation, Inc. in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, with a gift. A set of 55 gifts, to be exact. Ms. de Carbon brought 55 copies of “Listen, Sacha” to the children of the foundation, as an early Christmas gift.

“Listen, Sacha,” is a Hâpy Collection book written by Alessandra de Carbon, a story of a boy who spent the summer with his grandmother. A summer that soon turned into a magical journey imparting one major lesson: That it is important to dream, and that it is possible to reach these dreams.

“Listen, Sacha” was translated into Filipino, “Makinig Ka, Sacha.” With the gift of 55 copies of this book, Ms. de Carbon hoped to communicate this message:

“Our motto is ‘In the Heart of Business, Business with Heart.’ This is not a simple sentence. We keep our promises. How could we be seriously involved in the NFP sector without taking any initiative? Education is key,”

 Indeed, “Makinig Ka, Sacha,” is the embodiment of what CARRHURE hoped to impart—caring and compassion for children who have a bright future.

“Makinig Ka, Sacha” aims to be a tool to supplement the Alay Pag-Asa Foundation children’s education, as it aims to ignite the kids’ imaginations and give them the permission, even the urge, to dream.

As CARRHURE aims to maintain and even fine-tune its excellence in researching, identifying, and evaluating executive candidates in the Non-Government and Not-For-Profit sector, it aims to live out its motto of being “In the Heart of Business, Business with Heart.” And what better way to live out this slogan than by ensuring that CARRHURE’s activities in social responsibility, compassion, and giving, are targeted towards the bright minds who will illuminate the future? Indeed, CARRHURE hopes that its Christmas 2016 gift-giving event had been a meaningful one, an event that will impact 55 members of a generation to arise.
